The Medford Vincentown Rotary Club held it’s founding dinner on April 26, 1939 in an auditorium on Friends Avenue. It was attended by nearly forty men.

A charter dinner meeting was held on Tuesday night (the 7th regular meeting) at the Log Cabin Lodge, Medford Lakes on June 27, 1939 at 6:30pm. The dinner was a big event with over 210 in attendance representing nineteen Rotary Clubs.

The officers for that first club where Everett Haines-First Club President, Horace Wills, Vice President, Ralph Derr, Treasurer and Howard Frazier, Secretary.
